And here's another thing: If you buy a "free returns" item and have the nerve to actually return it, amazon will CANCEL your account. Yes, close and cancel you out --even after you had purchased another item on warranty. this means AMAZON WON'T EVEN ADHERE TO ITS OWN WARRANTY PROMISE if you, god forbid, decide to RETURN A RETURNABLE ITEM.

These assholes allowed a buyer to get a free iPhone 5 camera f/b fingerprint reader and mainboard. This guy buys my iPhone w/broken screen then claims I miss represented the item because they don't allow the sale of broken items, even though it happens all the time and I describes the problems in the description. So this guy gets a full refund AND sends me back a device that he 1.) Disassembled and either stole or broke the items listed above. 2.) Got my seller account suspended and are holding up my payments. All the while this fuck gets the protection of Amazon.

The key is to not say this in the E-mail message that Amazon can monitor, that will risk the Seller getting kicked off Amazon. Instead use the ruse of "I want to speak to you directly" about the product, and then provide a phone number, or ask the Sellers theirs.

Spent much time on Amazon website. Found backpack and sleeping bag, exactly what was looking for, and prices were fantastically agreeable.
A week later, money available and ready to purchase, Amazon jacked up the prices on both. It was like this years ago, but I just forgot about it or assumed they had changed practices.
I'd find a technical book I wanted, the price was steep. Would come back to the page to look at it again and deliberate with myself over the price. They jacked it to over a thousand dollars, because they thought I was some rich, impulsive MD or some fool.

Amazon doesn't give a damn about customers or repeat business. I hope someday there is such a thing as an AI ripper program that goes into Amazon and shreds it software, data, and hardware, and shuts the power off, too. I hate Amazon now.

They have a policy to reimburse the seller for missing inventory.! Get this. Product has been dlievered by Amazon Partnered Carrier, and all reps and Amazon emergency transportion states it has already been delivered over 20 days, and missing. Amazon reps first tried to state, item was never shipped, I shipped with there parntered carrier, then they stated delivered, but then 24 hours later, the rep states never delivered.

I sent Tracking # Amazon transportation department gave me. I even got the Tracking # for the Fulfillment transfer that Amazon did. I gave my invoices, and screenshots of my emails with invoices, and proof of pick up signed by Amazon parntered carrier. AND AMAZON WILL STILL NOT REFUND ME! $40,000

THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME. FEW MONTHS AGO THEY DID THE SAME THING! AND TOOK 2 MONTHS TO REFUND MY MONEY!

AMAZON SYSTEM IS A SHAM.
1. They offer you parntered Freight carrier
2. When shipped, they don't let you track
3. When tracking from the Partner carrier shows delivered, Amazon system will not
4. Amazon system will never show delivered, so SELLERS CANNOT OPEN RECONCILATION CASE!
5. After proving items been delivered and 14 days still missing, AMAZON WILL STATE IT NEVER DELIVERED BECAUSE AMAZON BACKEND SYSTEM DOES NOT TRACK THE SHIPMENTS! IT WILL NEVER SAY DELIVERED ON A FREIGHT SHIPMENT!
6. Therefore, you have to call in. FROM THE DAY YOU CALL OR FINALLY GET A REP TO INVESTIGATE, AND GET THE RIGHT REP TO SEE THAT THIS IS DELIVERED, THEY WILL TRANSFER YOU TO ANOTHER DEPARTMENT!
7. New department will say they need to investigate.! NOw they say another 14 days!

IT HAS BEEN 22 DAYS SINCE DELIVERY OF MY PRODUCT ON THIS SHIPMENT. LAST SHIPMENT WAS 2 MONTHS BEFORE I CALLED AND HAD TO FIND MY PRODUCT! THE PATTERN IS UNCANNY. IT IS AMAZON'S WAY OF NOT FOLLOWING THERE OWN POLICY.

THIS HAS LAWSUIT WRITTEN ON IT. IF THERE IS ANYONE OUT THERE WHO HAS THE SAME ISSUES, YOU NEED TO FILE A LAWSUIT. IT WILL BE OPEN AND EVERYONE ELSE WILL KEEP OPENING LAWSUITS.

People need to be educated about what Amazon really is

We don't sell on amazon and never will. Amazon is destroying retail as we know it and most manufacturers and consumers don't even realize it. It is finally starting to make backpage news as many large retailers are closing their doors. Retail sales and eCommerce sales are up, but many name brand stores are shutting down. The short-sighted sellers and manufacturers are not connecting the dots.

"Your margin is my opportunity" says the predator Jeff Bezos. He and his team have every intention of pummeling any and all retailers, manufacturers, resellers, etc. into bankruptcy. They lost $7.2B in shipping last year as part of their investment and strategy to make this happen.

Another tactic (out of many), is to get a reseller signed up. You, as the reseller, are selling X widgets. Suddenly, you are really doing well. This goes for a short time when you notice sales dropping off quickly. A quick search on Amazon shows that they are now selling X widgets below your price and fulfilled by them. Yep, they went around you after you did the market research for them and now buy direct and at a lower price than you pay. The manufacturer is happy because they are selling a lot of X widgets through Amazon...until they are not. Through marketing schemes like Alexa, they are now making X widgets 3rd party and selling them at much, much lower prices than the manufacturer can even sell wholesale. The new X widgets are Amazon branded, so in time, the manufacturer that was widely known for the market of X widgets is no longer branded as such.

This is just one short story of many. Do your research. Don't sell for them, don't buy from them.

I have been watching them for years. I have watched our gross sales get cut in half as well as our margins. Amazon Prime has become more popular than land line telephones in the U.S. Until commerce starts looking at the long term view of this and its consequences, Amazon will gladly continue down the wide open road without a stop sign in sight.
